Cloid Ottis BARNES was born on 16 Jan 1884 in Texas. He died on 1 Dec 1953 in Amarillo, Texas. Cloid Ottis A and Mattie (Norris) Barnes were the parents of ten children, five boys and five girls. These are the family that began having the reunion at Lake Altus, Okla. At the first one we attended all the boys were dead, and only three of the girls remained along with three of the boys wives.
The girls are Marjorie, Jennie & Oleta along with Burton,& Aleen who were at the reunion and Jane Sutton Barnes who did not attend and live in Amarillo, Texas.
The reunion is well organized and held at Lake Altus where they have great facilities.
